• Searching online for retail coupons before heading out to shop.
• Not spending more on the credit card than she can afford to pay off each month.
• Renting CDs and books at the library, thus calming two of her biggest spending vices.
• Becoming a better cook so eating at home is fun and inexpensive.
• Every other month or so, just not buying anything unnecessary.
• Never going grocery shopping with an empty stomach.
