LoveToKnow Group Editor Dana Hinders first became interested in finding creative ways to save money when she was struggling to launch her freelance writing business after the birth of her son in November 2004. During this time, she learned how to make natural cleaning products, how to save money on laundry detergent, and how to cook cheap meatless meals. Dana’s favorite books on the topic of frugal living are The Complete Tightwad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn and Not Buying It by Judith Levine.
