Free Samples of Acne Medicine
From LoveToKnow Save
If you're trying to figure out the secret to a clear complexion, free samples of acne medicine may be able to help.
About Acne
Although acne is a problem most often associated with teenagers, the truth is that people of all ages can suffer from problem skin. In fact, some adults complain they still struggle to manage acne in their 30s or 40s.
Acne causes no lasting physical problems aside from the potential for scarring. However, the condition can be quite damaging to a person's self esteem. People with serious acne often report suffering from depression and avoiding social situations.
Sources of Free Samples of Acne Medicine
There are a number of ways to find free samples of acne medicine. For example:
- Many over-the-counter acne products provide free samples as a gift with purchase. For example, you may purchase a Clearasil cleanser and find a free sample of the company's acne treatment gel attached to the package.
- Samples of facial scrubs and acne treatment masks are sometimes attached to the advertisements in women's magazines.
- If your acne is serious enough to require prescription treatment, medication samples may be available from your dermatologist.
Also try signing up for free samples by visiting a company's Web site directly and registering for any newsletters or promotions they have available. Check out these links to get started:
A Word of Caution
While free samples of acne medicine can be good tools for determining which products best fit your needs, you won't be able to cure your acne by using free samples alone. To be effective, most products must be used on a daily basis. When you stop your skincare routine, your acne is likely to return.

Hi Cammra - unfortunately, our site is not the one that distributes free samples. The sites above, listed as blue links, are good places to look for free samples.
Depending on your age, you may just be cycling through a time when hormones are changing your body composition, and the acne will go away eventually. Doesn't make it easier to know this now, though, does it?
But there are some other things to try:
- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, morning and night. Never scrub. And never go to bed with makeup on.
- Drink plenty of water and less sugary drinks to help flush the impurities out of your system (the bacteria in these impurities contributes to the acne)
- Don't pick! Use a very warm washcloth and press it against a breakout to help it release on its own. (Ew. I know. But it helps!)
- Change your makeup to one that is less thick and more for sensitive/acne-prone skin. While it may seem like the heavy makeup covers up the acne, it also makes it worse.
